    Create a UK guide!

    Please contribute your knowledge to the UK forum by creating a guide! Or by adding your experience to the existing guides. Below we have made a list of guides we want to see and we have even given you a head start with subheadings and ideas.

    To begin, write a detailed or vague description of your topic and host the thread. Depending on how much work you've done yourself, other players will fill in the gaps and add constructive criticism. Please take note of the comments and improve the guide.

    If you're unsure about parts of a topic, message a crew member so they can clarify it for you. Remember this is just a Proposed Guide section, so nothing is final until we are completely happy with the result.

    1. Guide to Gaul Trapper
    What is it? Overall introduction to Trapper for Gaul players
    How do I build it? Prerequisites, cost and times can be found (here)

    How do I use it? Capturing, releasing and disbanding troops + repairing traps
    Why would I want/not want one? Advantages and disadvantages
    How do I beat one? Preventing troops from being caught + freeing them
    Advanced Strategy, Negotiations with owners of trapped troops
    Advanced Strategy, Sneaky release/recapture techniques

    2. Guide to the NPC Merchant
    What is it? Overall introduction, note about sitters
    How do I build a market? Prerequisites, costs and time
    How do I use the NPC function? Step by step guide to using the merchant
    Warning about the real money cost
    Why would I need it? General advantages + NPC for high level wheat fields
    Advanced Strategy, creation of dedicated NPC village
    Links to useful NPC calculators

    1. Detailed Guide that tells you what to do after the first few weeks of playing
    Introduction of tribes
    Where should players be after 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks
    I.e.. Join alliance, village expansion, troop research
    Change format to 1 month, 2 month, 3 month
    Length of guide is up to you and how much you want to cover
    NB: make sure you cover all aspects travian has to offer
    NB: guide for new players, should be informative but not an experience mindfield

    Introduction to building and functions

    Detailed look at reduction in times and consumption

    4. Guide to using Brewery
    Introduction to building and functions
    FAQ for Brewery can be found (here); maximum Lvl 10

    ~ which troops are affected
    ~ how to work out when an upgrade is cost efficient
    ~ sample combat sims to prove the worth

    I did :p I mean I did on mrl the best, grr this is confusing.

    I'm currently V. bored, it's a sunday and nothing to do.

    So are there any guides that need doing, if not I think I might tackled something to do with 15c's, and how to manage them.

    What they are?
    What each specific one dose?
    how to get one?
    How to DEF one?

    The abouve should be included in it.

    Avi made a mini guide to them for the S4(?possibly not S4?) and it's in that forum section - it would be an excellent starting point for anyone interested in making a full guide, unless Avi is planning on converting it herself of course.

    Somehow it didn't dawn on me to look in the S4 section to look for a guide to artifacts.
